Holga WPC
I finally got out and gave the panoramic Holga a test drive. While traveling around the mountains in Eastern TN, I ventured off to one of my favorite spots. In the cold, drizzling rain, I managed to climb down the rocks to catch the cascades and wooden foot bridge crossing the rocky stream.
I plan to flock the inside of the camera and use without the mask on my next effort. Additionally, I plan to try some infrared as well as some long 35mm pano shots.

New film (expired)
I have recently been acquiring outdated Kodak Verichrome film. There is an assortment of cameras in my collection that are getting the dust blown off and loaded with new (outdated) film. Hopefully, this will breathe new life into these classics and give me fresh approach to “toy camera” photography. One camera in particular, a Kodak Duaflex II has been in my family for around fifty years. The last time I loaded film in it was ’72. I just finished loading some Sept. ’69 in the old box. Let’s see what I get.

HolgART- Taking Off available at Blurb
Taking Off is a collection of random images. These are photos I have created over the past six years, while getting acquainted with the Holga toy camera. Among these are urban, scenic, and whimsical images I have captured on an array of films, processed with a variety of development formulas, and laughed at during the titling phase.

Opening Night
The exhibit opened last night without any major issues. Despite the heavy rains and NCAA Championship game the turnout was excellent. Former co-workers, childhood friends, and a host of others were in attendance. It was great to see you! As usual my biggest supporter, my wife artist J Austin Jennings made the event memorable with pigeon shaped cookies to commemorate the theme Taking Off. Thanks Jenni!
Thanks to all who attended. The show runs through April 28th. Hour 8-5 M-F.
